BEAUTY...

WHAT YOU TELL ME

What you tell me,
is what I'll see...
Tell me I'm ugly
and I'll hide from thee
Tell me I'm stupid
and I'll stop trying to learn..
Tell me I'm lazy
and I won't have to yearn...

But tell me I'm lovely
and I won't have to hide..
Tell me I'm smart
and I'll show you my pride...
Tell me to yearn
and I'll be free to be me..
for what ever you tell me
I'll have to agree...

CHILDREN AT PLAY

Watching children at play,
makes everything worthwhile.
The pain and the heartaches
go away,
in the warmth of a child's smile.
They get such satisfaction
out of being with you,
like there was nothing much else
they would rather do.
A hug , or  a wink, or a smile
of praise,
is all you need give them
to brighten their days.
With such caring and loving
of their own special way,
they bring us a reason
for each new day...

FANTASY

The music is telling
of stories old.
When kings kingdoms
were full of gold..
Where fair-haired prince's
rode white horses.
As their knights
followed, their gallant courses...
With the beautiful princess,
in her dress of white.
She had many a prince
willing to fight.
These were the days
that were magical and fun.
Where people did
what had to be done.
Now all that is left
are stories and song,
That are deep in our hearts,
where they belong..

VISION OF LOVE

Sweetes thy rose,
that captures the heart
Where undying love
is cast for the part
I give you my hand
so take me away,
to where the ships
roll in to the harboring bay.
Let's fly to the mountains
or the wide open sea.
To where a vision of love
will be awaiting thee...

SPRING?

The sun glistens

on the melting snow

escaping to the spring

that has still not shown..

The birds have come,

to sing,

perched high in the trees,

their unending songs

with sweet melodies...
